Belgian Businessman Visits Palembang, Explores Coal Export Transportation Business
Palembang, Extranews —- August Verdonck, a Belgian businessman, visited the tourist destinations of Palembang City. Verdonck, when met while visiting the PTM Citra Grand City (CGC) center on Saturday (11/15), expressed interest in cities in Indonesia, including Palembang City.
He was accompanied by his business partner Mukhlisin Aziz, who is also the Chairman of PTM CGC, and had the opportunity to enjoy several tourist destinations in Palembang City. According to Verdonck, during his visit to Indonesia, he had visited Medan (North Sumatra), Padang (West Sumatra) and Bukit Tinggi.
For him, cities in Indonesia are not only rich in culture and nature, but also interesting. Verdonck’s special visit to Palembang was also to enjoy the tourism of Palembang City and be interested in local tourist destinations.
Moreover, for Verdonck, this was his first visit to Palembang City. They had also visited several tourist destinations in Palembang, including enjoying the beauty of the Musi River and the Ampera Bridge. For almost a day, Verdonck toured Palembang, visiting tourist destinations, including the Musi River and enjoying the view of the Ampera Bridge connecting Seberang Ulu and Ilir.
Verdonck was particularly impressed by the traditional Palembang songket clothing and local cuisine. This visit is expected to open up new business opportunities between Indonesia and Belgium.
